We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks. The Accounting Clerk position will work directly with our current Staff Accountant. This position will be trained in multiple areas of Staff Accountant tasks so that we can ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. The position is currently being offered at 28 hours a week, but it is possible to grow into a full-time position. We work in a business casual environment with a very close-knit team.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Routine Bookkeeping Tasks
· Creating and maintain spreadsheets
· Maintain and promote excellent vendor relations
· Reconcile vendor invoices to purchasing and inventory system
· Reconcile vendor accounts on a monthly basis
· Post and pay invoices as determined by Staff Accountant
· Scanning Documents
· Maintaining filing systems
Skills and Requirements
· Associate’s degree in accounting or related field of Study
· 2-5 years accounting experience
· Health care experience preferred but not required
· Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
· Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
· Strong attention detail
· Proficient at researching issues and problem solving
