Title : Pay Clerk

Location : Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

Job Summary

Hyperion Biotechnology is seeking candidates for Pay Clerks to support the US Army's Financial Management Command (FMC) Army Military Pay Offices (AMPO) program.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Prepares, files and maintains physical and / or electronic records and documents in required formats
• Compiles and verifies information using simple calculations and standard procedures.
• Inputs data into a tracking database or system
• Retrieves documents or responds to requests for information from internal or external customers by phone or e-mail
• May assist with general office tasks such as copying, mailing, and ordering supplies
• Will utilize and interpret information necessary to evaluate how to best support the AMPO through the entire spectrum of services and shall communicate and coordinate closely with all customers utilizing exceptional interpersonal skills, problem- solving skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills that focus on support requirements

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma, or a General Education Development (GED) Required
• Two years of job-related experience and able to work under moderate supervision
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in a customer service role preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be able to pass a government background check
• Secret clearance preferred or must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
