Admitting Director directs patient admissions and access operations, staffing, policies, and practices. Admitting Nurse - Nurse Supervisor

    • Salary: 45.00 - 52.00 Hourly
    • Status: Full Time

    Two Years of Admissions Experience Preferred!

    As admissions coordinator, you manage admission and discharge assessments as well as supervising the team of nurses and caregivers. 

    You will:

    • Complete admissions and discharges.
    • Supervise nurses and CNAs and ensure adequate staffing for their and oncoming shifts.  Coordination of last-minute staff shortages.
    • Monitor residents' condition and assess their needs to provide the best care and advice. 
    • Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
    • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for residents. 
    • Perform routine nursing duties, adjust and administer residents' medications and provide treatments according to physicians' orders.
    • Conduct daily audits of all new admission charts.  Investigate all incident reports and follow up. 
    • Participate in managing staff and assignments to ensure quality of care. Train new nurses. 
    • Additional duties as needed. 

    You Have:

    • Possess Nursing License (RN or LPN) within state, in good standing. 
    • Two years of skilled nursing experience required 
    • Work independently, problem solve, and manage conflict.
    • Know resident rights. Help residents/patients exercise and protect their rights.
    • Maintain confidentiality of resident/patient information.
    • Follow and adheres to policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information.
