Admitting Manager manages the day-to-day patient admissions and access operations, staff, policies, and practices. Maintains standardized admission processes to ensure accurate data collection, a positive patient experience, and effective coordination between clinical and administrative teams. Being an Admitting Manager monitors operational metrics to improve processes, increase efficiency, or correct problems. Establishes policies and standards to preserve patient confidentiality, ensure data security and comply with all applicable regulations. Additionally, Admitting Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Admitting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Admitting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. What Awaits You?
The Admissions and Registration Coordinator (ARC) will handle administrative (non-clinical) aspects of the patient encounter, achieving an ideal patient experience, while collecting and maintaining accurate information on each patient record. You’ll offer friendly, courteous assistance to patients, provide support to the clinical care team, and exhibit a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Hours:
Full Time (40 hours) 10 hour shifts
Day Shift 9:00am - 7:30pm
One weekend per month
Job training will take place during day shift hours regardless of the shift the incumbent is hired for. There are 5 one-day training sessions over two weeks’ time which is compulsory for all shifts.
