The Surgical Services Team at PenBay is seeking an energetic, confident, and team oriented RN to join our perioperative team. We are a busy four operating room facility that cares for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. While the role will primarily be caring for patients throughout the perioperative setting, an enthusiasm to learn new skills across surgical services is a must.

The successful candidate will be professional, patient focused, and have a strong attention to detail.  The RN must have the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment and demonstrate independence in their role.

Position Summary (This position will consist of either 24 to 32 hours per week.)

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. 1. Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
   2. License/Certifications: Current License as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine; Current BLS Certification. As required by department, including Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women. 
   3. Experience:  A minimum of one year in an acute care setting preferred.
