    This role oversees both Clinical and Non-Clinical Care Team Members (Intake Nurses, Referral Specialists, and Schedulers) to ensure optimal customer service to our Patients and Referral sources. The ideal candidate will have solid customer service skills, attention to detail and an eye for process improvement.

    • Position Summary
      • The Manager - Clinical Intake will have primary responsibility for optimizing patient access and referral flow from the initial intake process to the admission of the patient to the agency. To support effectiveness and efficiencies the Clinical Manager will work closely with agency leadership, the Central Billing Office, Private Insurers, Public Payers, and referral sources. The areas of focus will be to develop a standardized approach on how referrals are processed from initial inquiry through patient admission, securing insurance authorization and optimizing an efficient and effective process.
    • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
      • Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
      • License/Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine. Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.
      • Experience: 1-2 years leadership experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Prior Home Care experience preferred.
      • Knowledge of process improvement and data analytics
      • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated experience with project management.
      • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
      • Proficiency in use of basic computer programs/software, including email, Microsoft Office, etc.
      • Experience with use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) required, EPIC experience preferred.
