Follows standardized processes for admission procedures to ensure accurate data collection, a positive patient experience, and effective coordination between clinical and administrative teams. Being an Admitting Supervisor monitors operational metrics to improve processes, increase efficiency, or correct problems. Prepares staff work schedules to ensure coverage and coordinate training and staff resources. Additionally, Admitting Supervisor follows all established policies and standards to preserve patient confidentiality, ensure data security and comply with all applicable regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Summary:
Under close supervision, the Admitting Front Desk Representative will be the primary contact for patients presenting to the Admitting Department and will assist with check-ins, basic customer service as well as navigating the ANTHC campus.
Be attentive, helpful and have a courteous attitude to all patients and co-workers. Empathetically listen to and understand patient concerns, requests and reason for visit to determine best way to assist. Communicate clearly and effectively with Admitting Registration Coordinators, supervisors and patients.
Provide an outstanding service experience for every patient.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance as set in the Admitting dress code guideline.
Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front desk area.
Remain current with all updates to Policies and Procedures. Remain current with all training.
Operate all aspects of the Admitting Front Desk Office computer systems with accuracy. Understand and use all available Admitting Office computer systems and programs.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Non-Supervisory – One (1) year of Customer Service experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
