Admitting Supervisor supervises the day-to-day patient admissions and access operations and staff responsible for required registration, and patient intake processes. Follows standardized processes for admission procedures to ensure accurate data collection, a positive patient experience, and effective coordination between clinical and administrative teams. Being an Admitting Supervisor monitors operational metrics to improve processes, increase efficiency, or correct problems. Prepares staff work schedules to ensure coverage and coordinate training and staff resources. Additionally, Admitting Supervisor follows all established policies and standards to preserve patient confidentiality, ensure data security and comply with all applicable regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Admitting Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Admitting Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • Turner Industries is looking for a Field Supervisor to join our team in the Salt Lake City, UT area. This position is responsible for exercising independent judgment and supervising / directing a group of workers engaged chiefly in one occupation.


    Functional Requirements:

    Interprets blueprints, sketches, written and/or verbal orders, Estimates worker-hours and materials required to complete the job, Assigns duties, lines up and follows up all work and is responsible for production of the unit, Inspects work to ensure adherence to company standards, Trains and assists workers in the performance of their duties, Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned construction workers, Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations, Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel, Analyzes and resolves work related problems, Implements project safety programs, May maintain time, production, and other records, May study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job, May make cost estimates for contracts, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.


    Qualification Standards:

    • High school or equivalent
    • Minimum one (1) year experience as a Foreman in specified skill or equivalent combinations of training and related experience
    • Sets a high standard to be followed for Turner and Client Safety Policies and Procedures
    • Projects clear expectations to all employees under his/her supervision
    • Proficient in the craft he/she is supervising
    • Obtains excellent leadership and mentoring skills
    • Preferred to have NCCER craft certifications and leadership certifications such as NCCER Crew Leader or Turner Leadership Training
    • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
    • Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
    • Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.
    • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace


    Physical Involvement:

    May be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing / sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; typing / data entry; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environment


    Mental Involvement:

    May be required to do the following: follow set procedures and standards; follow oral/or written directions; knowledge of federal, state and company standards and regulations; ability to read and write; ability to recognize and report safety hazards etc.; interpret written plans and blueprints; applying basic mathematical skills; planning work and selecting proper tools; comparing and understanding differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects; picturing and evaluating solid objects from drawing or diagrams using standards that can be measured or checked; ability to communicate with others effectively; ability to work in a team and get along with others; ability to learn new tasks; remember processes, maintain focus, and complete tasks; ability to remain calm under pressure; manage time and expectations across multiple projects; ensure that work is done in a consistent manner and in compliance with directions


    Work Environment Factors:

    • Location: industrial maintenance and construction sites
    • Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground level; obstructed pathways; work performed at low and/or high elevations; work performed in confined areas
    • Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominately outdoor climate; may be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather, excessive humidity, rain, etc.; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.; potential exposure to chemical substances
