Follows standardized processes for admission procedures to ensure accurate data collection, a positive patient experience, and effective coordination between clinical and administrative teams. Being an Admitting Supervisor monitors operational metrics to improve processes, increase efficiency, or correct problems. Prepares staff work schedules to ensure coverage and coordinate training and staff resources. Additionally, Admitting Supervisor follows all established policies and standards to preserve patient confidentiality, ensure data security and comply with all applicable regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager.
