We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care services. Your role will involve helping clients with daily tasks, promoting their independence, and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals

- Monitor and record vital signs

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding

- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary

- Ensure compliance with resident rights and maintain confidentiality of client information

- Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed

Skills

- Experience in assisted living or home care settings

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required

- Knowledge of first aid procedures
