Adult Education Teacher is responsible for teaching courses to adults in a classroom setting. Develops and implements appropriate course work, activities, and assessments for an adult class. Being an Adult Education Teacher evaluates and monitors student's performance, and helps students identify and pursue personal goals. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Adult Education Teacher typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : (Other duties may be assigned)
The Lead Teacher creates weekly lesson plans, conducts observations, plans CQI goals, assess children and the classroom, and provides a safe environment for children to learn.
Plans and conducts parent meetings and other family engagement events. Attends scheduled parent meetings, staff meetings, professional development training, etc. Communicates effectively with other staff members, parents, and students. Displays a desire and enthusiasm for working with young children. Compiles with local, state, and federal policies, rules, and regulations. Uses time effectively; is punctual and has good attendance. Maintains emotional control under stress
