Adult Education Teacher is responsible for teaching courses to adults in a classroom setting. Develops and implements appropriate course work, activities, and assessments for an adult class. Being an Adult Education Teacher evaluates and monitors student's performance, and helps students identify and pursue personal goals. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Adult Education Teacher typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Adult Education Teacher occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Adult Education Instructor - Part Time
Guest Services TeacherDo you feel the shortage of well-trained guest service employees in Dutchess County?
If you are an experienced Guest Services manager, you may be the right person to teach a new generation of talent for the hotel industry.SALARY: $25 - $70 per hour
LOCATION(S): Adult Education Institute
DUTIES: The chosen candidate will teach a course in Guest Services/Hospitality. The 76 hour class will meet up to three evenings a week, for three to four hours per night. Students' final assessment will be the Gold Start Certification test. The course will be a combination of lecture and hands-on role playing to develop student understanding of guest services expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the appropriate field with an associate's degree, but the right candidate's years in the field and experience level will be taken into account.
GRADE LEVEL: Adult
