Being an Adult Education Teacher evaluates and monitors student's performance, and helps students identify and pursue personal goals. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Adult Education Teacher typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Teaches (4) GED core subject areas at the 38th Community Correctional Facility aligned with the Adult Education Content Standards. Responsible for maintaining lesson plans, attendance records, student evaluations and student progress portfolios. Develops Learning Plans to promote goal-setting and address deficiencies and strengthen academic student achievement. Work rules, code of conduct and other policies are part of the essential functions of the job.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
