Advertising Manager manages the implementation of the strategy, plans, and tactics required to create advertising concepts and campaigns that deliver results and meet organizational and stakeholder objectives. Controls the budget, expenditures, resource allocation, and project timelines for all advertising campaigns. Being an Advertising Manager identifies media channels and directs the placement of all advertisements and the development of promotional materials. Ensures consistent and effective branding and messaging in all forms of advertisements. Additionally, Advertising Manager deploys metrics and data analytics processes to measure campaign effectiveness and assess return on investment. Maintains awareness of industry and competitive intelligence and recommends innovative and new advertising methods and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Advertising Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Advertising Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The digital specialist position will be an integral part of our team, working with a wide variety of clients, campaigns, and projects. The primary responsibility is to handle the digital marketing campaigns and utilize online marketing tools to promote the client’s brand through various social media platforms, increasing customer engagement and attracting new clients to our partnerships.

    Responsibilities

    • Working closely with senior management and account managers to develop a strategy for integrated media campaigns.
    • Strategize, plan, and create all traditional and digital marketing for clients including SEM, display advertising, social advertising, direct mail, ringless voicemail, and email marketing
    • Manage execution and scheduling of cohesive monthly marketing campaigns including social media, direct mail, radio, television, media buying, copywriting, website updates,
      landing page creation, email marketing, graphic design, advertising calendars, and client budgets
    • Improve our client’s brand awareness using digital media channels such as youtube, Instagram, and Facebook.
    • Measure and report on digital campaign results, analyze findings, present results to clients, and use that data to improve strategy for following campaigns
    • Implement UTM tracking parameters on all click paths to analyze post-click reporting in Google Analytics
    • Oversee website analytics for all clients and report on actionable insights and trends
    • Evaluate and maximize campaign performance with creative messaging, promotion, and optimization of landing page
    • Monitoring impact and return on investment of digital marketing campaigns.
    • Troubleshoot tracking and tagging issues using Google Analytics, Google Tag Assistant, and Google Ad Preview
    • Execute A/B testing and analysis
    • Maintain and update internal planners, schedules, and other documents as needed
    • Support business development of digital revenue opportunities within existing accounts by staying on top of emerging trends, exploring monetization of new digital marketing tactics, and proving the value of digital advertising to clients
    • Writing content for search engine optimization.
    • Remaining up-to-date with the latest digital media trends and design technology available.

    Requirements

    • 3-5 years experience with digital marketing with a desire to continue growing in the digital advertising space
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising
    • Expert knowledge of reporting and analytics (preferably with looker studio)
    • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
    • Advanced experience with web analytic tools such as Google Ads and Google Campaign Manager.
    • Expert knowledge of running and monitoring paid social.
    • Solid knowledge of design and editing programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Final Cut Pro.
    • Knowledge of web design (WordPress a plus) and content management systems.
    • Familiarity with paid social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube.
    • Experience with building landing pages and email marketing
    • Knowledge of the latest media trends
    • Basic budgeting skills to reconcile paid digital media placements with the available budget
    • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
