Advertising Manager manages the implementation of the strategy, plans, and tactics required to create advertising concepts and campaigns that deliver results and meet organizational and stakeholder objectives. Controls the budget, expenditures, resource allocation, and project timelines for all advertising campaigns. Being an Advertising Manager identifies media channels and directs the placement of all advertisements and the development of promotional materials. Ensures consistent and effective branding and messaging in all forms of advertisements. Additionally, Advertising Manager deploys metrics and data analytics processes to measure campaign effectiveness and assess return on investment. Maintains awareness of industry and competitive intelligence and recommends innovative and new advertising methods and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Advertising Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Advertising Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. You have tangible, quantifiable experience running omni channel campaigns across paid search and paid social platforms, from strategy to execution.     Communication is a strong point for you, whether in an email, slide deck, or Zoom call with clients. You make the complicated seem simple, and turn complex topics into clear action steps. This results in high client trust, not only in your results, but also in your strategic thinking and foresight.

When things don't go as planned, you are the first to take accountability. You are open-minded and driven to learn as much as you can, regardless of whether it aligns with your existing assumptions.

    Objective

    The Strategist leads client engagements to successful outcomes, resulting in long-term client retention and scope expansion, as well as referrals to new business.

    The Strategist’s main KPI is Managed Revenue of $20,000 , defined as the revenue paid to Rocket Clicks by clients for Digital Advertising services, shared among the participating team members.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • 3 years of experience in digital marketing
    • Experience handling $80,000 monthly media spend across multiple platforms & clients
    • Prior experience with Lead Generation and E-Commerce businesses

    Preferred

    • Relevant Certifications: Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Blueprint, Microsoft Accreditation
    • Prior digital marketing agency experience

    Salary: $71,500 per year

    Bonus: $0 - $2,500 per quarter
