Advertising Manager manages the implementation of the strategy, plans, and tactics required to create advertising concepts and campaigns that deliver results and meet organizational and stakeholder objectives. Controls the budget, expenditures, resource allocation, and project timelines for all advertising campaigns. Being an Advertising Manager identifies media channels and directs the placement of all advertisements and the development of promotional materials. Ensures consistent and effective branding and messaging in all forms of advertisements. Additionally, Advertising Manager deploys metrics and data analytics processes to measure campaign effectiveness and assess return on investment. Maintains awareness of industry and competitive intelligence and recommends innovative and new advertising methods and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Advertising Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Advertising Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering positive and lasting relationships.
    • Understand each client's business objectives, challenges, and industry landscape to provide strategic guidance and solutions.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, production, and strategy, to develop and execute client campaigns and projects.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and expansion, working closely with clients to present new ideas and recommendations.
    • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports and analysis to clients, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
    • Act as an advocate for the client within the agency, ensuring their needs and goals are always top of mind.
    • Stay up to date on industry strategy and best practices to continually enhance client service and campaign effectiveness.
    • Handle any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally, seeking resolution to maintain client satisfaction.
    • Contribute to new business efforts, including proposal development, pitches, and presentations, as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
    • 5 years of experience in account management or a similar client-facing role within an advertising, marketing, or creative agency environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal teams.
    • Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results and driving client satisfaction.
    • Excellent project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to client service.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat and project management tools.
    • A passion for creativity, marketing, and advertising, with a desire to stay informed about industry trends and innovations.
    • Ability to work full-time and in person at our office location, collaborating effectively with team members and clients on-site.
    • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license as occasional travel to client meetings is required.
