Advertising Manager manages the implementation of the strategy, plans, and tactics required to create advertising concepts and campaigns that deliver results and meet organizational and stakeholder objectives. Controls the budget, expenditures, resource allocation, and project timelines for all advertising campaigns. Being an Advertising Manager identifies media channels and directs the placement of all advertisements and the development of promotional materials. Ensures consistent and effective branding and messaging in all forms of advertisements. Additionally, Advertising Manager deploys metrics and data analytics processes to measure campaign effectiveness and assess return on investment. Maintains awareness of industry and competitive intelligence and recommends innovative and new advertising methods and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Advertising Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Advertising Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. About the Role
Simplehuman is seeking a sharp, analytical new graduate to help us grow our Amazon business. As the Amazon Ads Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our brand's presence on Amazon through effective advertising strategies, data-driven decision-making, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is an ideal role for someone interested in starting their career in one of the fastest growing industries that combines both e-commerce and marketing analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end Amazon advertising campaigns, including keyword research, campaign setup, budget management, and performance analysis.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to achieve maximum return on ad spend.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that advertising efforts are aligned with product launches, promotions, brand messaging, and overall business goals.
- Stay current with industry trends, Amazon algorithm updates, and competitive landscape to proactively adapt strategies.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
About You- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data/Marketing Analytics, Business, or other analytic discipline preferred.
- Tech-savvy with new software and technologies.
- Possesses a sense of urgency and initiative.
- Some familiarity with Amazon Advertising Console, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands preferred. Certification is a plus.
- Strongly analytical, with the ability to interpret data to drive business decisions.
- Excellent communication.
