Advertising Sales Director directs and develops the strategy, plans, and tactics required to create advertising concepts and campaigns that deliver results and meet organizational objectives. Oversees the budget, expenditures, and resource allocation for all advertising campaigns. Being an Advertising Sales Director identifies media channels and directs the placement of all advertisements and the development of promotional materials. Ensures consistent and effective branding and messaging in all forms of advertisements. Additionally, Advertising Sales Director uses metrics and data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and assess return on investment. We need a self-motivated professional with 5 years of proven managerial experience and outstanding track record in sales. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting our daily sales targets.
Your duties will include motivating our sales team of 20 high caliber inside sales representatives and to design strategic sales plans. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills by providing guidance, training, mentorship, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans, and building their team.
Responsibilities:
*Improve staff through motivation, and counseling
* Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results
*Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team
*Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations
* Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions
* Maintain awareness of all departments’ operational challenges and assist when appropriate
*Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty
*Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives
*Establish ongoing training for your salespeople
*Meet with sales managers to assess company performance.
* Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

Requirements:
*Preferred bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a relevant field.
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
* In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices
* Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
* Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
*Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
