Aerospace Engineer researches and develops structural engineering specifications for aerospace products, parts, or associated operations to improve the efficiency and reliability of aerospace systems. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts to determine material durability and tolerances. Being an Aerospace Engineer oversees flight tests of prototypes and analyzes resulting data to validate flight characteristics and identify necessary improvements. Conducts calculations and utilizes simulations to evaluate aerodynamics, structural integrity, propulsion efficiency, and the effect on fuel consumption of new or existing materials. Additionally, Aerospace Engineer utilizes CAE, 3-D, and digital modeling to create detailed plans and specifications to support production. Assists quality assurance and purchasing teams with the evaluation of new or existing suppliers, products and materials, or technologies. Understands and complies with all federal regulatory requirements and specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Aerospace Engineer work is closely managed.   • Our client is a leader in medical flight transportation, providing essential services to patients in need. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command to join their Aviation Flight Crew team.

    This is a remote position with competitive compensation ranging from $157,241 to $160,000 per year.

    Limited time sign on bonus of $10,000

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the safety of the aircraft, flight crew, passengers, and cargo
    • Comply with all federal regulations and company policies and procedures
    • Ensure crew members are properly licensed, rested, and flight ready
    • Plan flight assignments and obtain briefing information
    • Prepare and file flight plans considering all applicable factors
    • Supervise crew members and ensure proper planning and flight preparation
    • Ensure aircraft is pre-flighted, loaded, equipped, and manned for the flight assignment
    • Supervise loading and distribution of cargo and passengers
    • Comply and participate in Safety Management System
    • Prepare flight logs, records, and maintenance forms
    • Ensure aircraft airworthiness per maintenance release procedures
    • Assume role of Inflight Security Coordinator and Ground Security Coordinator
    • Stay highly knowledgeable of regulations, flight manuals, and other relevant instructions
    Qualifications:
    • Airline Transport Pilot
    • Valid Passport
    • FCC RROP
    • First Class Medical
    • Required Experience:
    • 2000 hours total flight time
    • 1000 hours Pilot in Command
    • 500 hours Jet/Turbine
    • 100 hours Instrument
    • Preferred Education and Experience:
    • 4-year degree
    • 3000 hours total flight time
    • 1500 hours Pilot in Command
    • 1000 hours Jet/Turbine
    •  LR-JET or LR45 Type Rating
