Aerospace Engineer researches and develops structural engineering specifications for aerospace products, parts, or associated operations to improve the efficiency and reliability of aerospace systems. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts to determine material durability and tolerances. Being an Aerospace Engineer oversees flight tests of prototypes and analyzes resulting data to validate flight characteristics and identify necessary improvements. Conducts calculations and utilizes simulations to evaluate aerodynamics, structural integrity, propulsion efficiency, and the effect on fuel consumption of new or existing materials. Additionally, Aerospace Engineer utilizes CAE, 3-D, and digital modeling to create detailed plans and specifications to support production. Assists quality assurance and purchasing teams with the evaluation of new or existing suppliers, products and materials, or technologies. Butler Aerospace is seeking to hire a Sr. Integration Engineer for an opportunity in Florence, SC. The Sr. Engineer is responsible for electrical system integration, and will actas liaison between engineering department and production department to resolve discrepancies in production drawings and schematics.
The position will play a crucial role in new product development, maintaining product integrity, evaluating change opportunities, and integrating new component designs into existing systems.
Additionally this project will provide product support for a variety of electronic elevator components and electrical systems.
Responsibilities include system design, componentspecification, software development, documentation (engineering drawings, manuals, Etc.), vendor and customer interface.
REQUIRED
The candidate should have systems integrations' experience.
Experience with reading and understanding schematics and wiring diagrams to identify root cause, and develop innovative solutions.
Ability to integrate new components and features
work across disciplines with mechanical engineers, software engineers, manufacturing personnel, and field personnel is required.
Travel to Test Facility (UL) may be required.
