Aerospace Engineer researches and develops structural engineering specifications for aerospace products, parts, or associated operations to improve the efficiency and reliability of aerospace systems. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts to determine material durability and tolerances. Being an Aerospace Engineer oversees flight tests of prototypes and analyzes resulting data to validate flight characteristics and identify necessary improvements. Conducts calculations and utilizes simulations to evaluate aerodynamics, structural integrity, propulsion efficiency, and the effect on fuel consumption of new or existing materials. Additionally, Aerospace Engineer utilizes CAE, 3-D, and digital modeling to create detailed plans and specifications to support production. Assists quality assurance and purchasing teams with the evaluation of new or existing suppliers, products and materials, or technologies. Understands and complies with all federal regulatory requirements and specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Aerospace Engineer work is closely managed.     Ainstein AI is the nation’s leader in aerospace and automotive commercial radar technology. We are looking for a dedicated, ambitious, and agile National Aerospace Sales Manager who will build and lead a team through both pre- and post-sales efforts and develop customer-specific opportunities while building out our technical post-sales strategy and processes.

    In this role, you will work closely with current customers, cultivate relationships and expand Ainstein AI’s footprint as the pioneer in aerospace radar altimeter technology. This position is responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to consistently generate B2B sales revenue, expand international distributor channels, support product commercialization efforts, and integrate advanced engineering solutions into compelling value propositions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a strong technical aptitude.

    Responsibilities

    • Recruit, train, and grow a high-performing sales team: Identify and attract talented sales professionals who align with our company's objectives.
    • Lead team to achieve financial expectations to include: sales and margin growth, managed operating expenses, and year-over-year vertical ratio improvement. Drive market-leading sales and gross margin growth through your direct sales team while ensuring sound sales behaviors are employed.
    • Act as an Ainstein AI’s advocate and point of contact for key customer and prospect inquiries
    • Work in a cross-functional capacity to support Ainstein AI’s revenue growth and product commercialization efforts.
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of relevant industry customers and markets.
    • Deliver creative, holistic sales solutions incorporating Ainstein AI radar sensors in new and emerging markets.
    • Interact with new and current customers to qualify opportunities, identify partnerships, and grow revenue paths.
    • Own the technical relationship between the company and the customer.
    • Meet with customers to gather requirements and align them with Ainstein AI services and solutions.
    • Participate, prepare, and present technology demonstrations for prospective clients, product demonstrations, proof of concept support, and training activities.
    • Prepare cost estimates and proposals by studying customer requirements, consulting with engineers, and other internal professional and technical personnel.
    • Communicate market insights and trends to Product Development and Engineering teams.
    • Travel required for customer visits as well as for industry trade shows or events.
    • Aid and strategize in product marketing campaigns.

    Qualifications

    • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales Management, Engineering, or related field. At least 5 years working in related industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • 5 years of experience leading sales teams at either a regional or national level.
    • Track record of closing high value deals
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Experience with MS Office, Google Workspace, or similar software
    • Ability to learn new technology
    • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
