Duties:
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately
- Monitor and record vital signs as required
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Escort individuals to appointments, outings, and social activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the well-being of individuals
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals safely
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or memory care needs preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with nursing home or assisted living facility settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
