Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in mechanic work, soldering, welding, assembling, fabricating, auto estimating, customer service, and auto painting.
Duties:
- Perform auto body repairs and restoration on damaged vehicles
- Assess the extent of damage and develop repair plans
- Remove damaged parts and repair or replace them as needed
- Weld and fabricate metal parts to restore vehicle structure
- Conduct mechanical repairs and ensure proper functioning of vehicle systems
- Solder electrical components as necessary
- Assemble vehicle components and ensure proper fitment
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming
- Apply paint using appropriate techniques to achieve a seamless finish
- Perform quality checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards
Qualifications:
- 2 years proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role

- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools
- Proficient in welding and fabricating metal parts
- Familiarity with mechanical repairs and electrical soldering
- Experience in auto estimating and customer service is a plus
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
