Auto Body Technician (Granite Falls, NC)

Caldwell Body Works Inc. is taking applications for an Auto Body Technician. The Auto Body Technician plays a key role in delivering a quality product for our valuable customers. Caldwell offers competitive commission pay commensurate to your experience with a great working environment. Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

2-5 years’ experience minimum

Be able to properly complete light to heavy repairs per OE/Industry standards.

Be able to properly complete structural repairs per OE/Industry standards.

Attend daily production meetings and schedule work performed accordingly.

Be able to read an estimate to repair vehicle accordingly.

Follow proper procedures to verify condition and correctness of parts.

Be able to identify supplemental damages for repair and billing.

Verify that all items are removed or prepared to facilitate proper quality paint work.

ASE & I-CAR Certifications in non-structural and structural a plus but are not required.

Must:

Have a good work ethic with pride in your work and yourself with pleasant demeanor.

Have a valid driver's license and your own transportation.

Be able to stoop, bend, lift moderately heavy items and generally be able to do manual labor.

Be able to follow instructions to perform a task with minimal supervision.

Be drug free and submit to a background check.

Be able to work as a team player with and around others.
