Painter Assistant (Trainee): Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

Experienced Prepper: Prepares a vehicle body or other surface for painting. Your job duties include all aspects of preparation. Fill small dents or scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare vehicles for painting. You may sand, polish, retouch, buff, degrease, or otherwise clean the surface.

Works with paint team to assist in keeping vehicle on track for scheduled delivery time.

I-CAR certifications preferred and free I-CAR training for continued advancement.

Ability to receive directions and work well with others.

Automotive interest and desire to develop a career in the industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
