Aircraft Electrician jobs in Austin, TX

Aircraft Electrician performs preventative and non-routine maintenance and inspections of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Uses manufacturer's reference documents, diagrams, and best practices to troubleshoot problems, identify the correct solutions and replace or repair components and parts. Being an Aircraft Electrician conducts quality testing, verification procedures, and required documentation of all completed work. Ensures compliance with all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Electrician typically requires an associate degree in aviation electronics, avionics or equivalent. Requires Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Aircraft Electrician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     The On-Site Representative is accountable for representing Incora at customer production sites, interacting and coordinating directly with customer representatives and on-site functional area managers to effectively maintain and replenish customer supply locations.     Qualifications

    A High school graduate with proven customer service, and interaction skills, with direct customer contact with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers demonstrated excellence and commitment to a safe and hazard-free workplace.

    Perform daily product to end user location maintenance (areas may include bins, cabinets, trays, etc. and/or a combination of these stocking locations)

    Perform required maintenance and processing for shelf-life materials, including proper removal and disposal processes in alignment with customer and product specifications.

    Proactively initiate and/or respond efficiently to daily internal and external customer requirements; including interaction with the contract administration/customer service and customer production floor management to facilitate needs.

    Address on site quality assurance issues and forward to Program/Site Management and/or Quality Management for resolution.
