Aircraft Electrician jobs in Boise, ID

Aircraft Electrician performs preventative and non-routine maintenance and inspections of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Uses manufacturer's reference documents, diagrams, and best practices to troubleshoot problems, identify the correct solutions and replace or repair components and parts. Being an Aircraft Electrician conducts quality testing, verification procedures, and required documentation of all completed work. Ensures compliance with all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Electrician typically requires an associate degree in aviation electronics, avionics or equivalent. Requires Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Aircraft Electrician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     JOB DESCRIPTION:

    We are looking for an experienced electrical technician to join our Boise team. We are in search of a hard-working, self-motivated individual with electrical experience and enrolled in the electrical apprenticeship program. The right candidate installs, maintains, and repairs residential and small commercial equipment. Also, must be reliable, able to manage timing and scheduling, be able to communicate clearly, and have a great attitude.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Proficient in residential electrical service and small commercial/industrial.
    • Current apprenticeship card.
    • A recognized expert in multiple areas of electrical service.
    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
    • Regularly required to work around operating equipment, work in confined spaces, stand for long periods of time, walk, reach, stoop, crawl, twist, bend and climb ladders.
    • Maintain open communication with company staff and customer in a professional manner.
    • Understand and efficiently use basic computer hardware and software.
    • Maintain a clean, safe driving record.
    • Passionate about contributing as an individual and also loves winning as a team.
