Aircraft Electrician jobs in Lexington, KY
Aircraft Electrician performs preventative and non-routine maintenance and inspections of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Uses manufacturer's reference documents, diagrams, and best practices to troubleshoot problems, identify the correct solutions and replace or repair components and parts. Being an Aircraft Electrician conducts quality testing, verification procedures, and required documentation of all completed work. Ensures compliance with all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Electrician typically requires an associate degree in aviation electronics, avionics or equivalent. Requires Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Aircraft Electrician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. We are looking for skilled electricians in and around Fayette County, Kentucky for a long-term project in the area! Pay : $29 / hr-$31 / hr (40 hour weeks).
Shift : 7am-5pm (10 hour days Monday-Thursday). Work starts ASAP! This is a full-time position.

Requirements :
- Must have 3 years experience in the trade
- Must be able to rough-in slab with PVC Conduit
- Must be able to rough-In CMU block wall
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a rug screen and background check
Preferred :
A license is optional but always a bonus. Experience matters more than licensure here.
