Aircraft Electrician performs preventative and non-routine maintenance and inspections of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Uses manufacturer's reference documents, diagrams, and best practices to troubleshoot problems, identify the correct solutions and replace or repair components and parts. Being an Aircraft Electrician conducts quality testing, verification procedures, and required documentation of all completed work. Ensures compliance with all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Electrician typically requires an associate degree in aviation electronics, avionics or equivalent. Requires Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Aircraft Electrician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     We are currently seeking an Electrician for our Utility Division that will support work within the USA.
    What You’ll Do:
    • Review drawings for technical specifications
    • Perform accurate material take offs
    • Quality Control
    • Daily electrical safety review (JHA’s and toolbox talks)
    • Inspecting work areas for potential hazards
    • Assist with electrical tool and equipment management
    • Assist with material offload and material management
    • Supervise and train apprentice electricians during installation
    • Promote and comply with federal, state and company safety policies and procedures
    • Work duties include but not limited to: Underground conduit installation/ direct burial, electrical equipment installation, AC and DC wire pulls and wire management, terminations in inverters/ combiners/ switchgears/ transformers, DAS install, and IRT and VOC testing.
    • Utilization of Procore (construction management software) - record daily work activities
    What you’ll bring:
    • Has a thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code
    • Has valid state electrical license (or willing to test in the states we are working in)
    • Flexibility to travel from project to project for extended durations
    • Minimum 4 years of electrical experience (solar experience a plus)
    • Ability to read detailed electrical drawings
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Time management – Able to turn in paperwork in a timely manner (JHA’s, toolbox talks, timecards, daily reports, etc.)
    • Works well in a team setting
    • Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
    • Skid steer and forklift operating experience a plus
    • Overtime required based on project needs
    • Clean driving record and means of transportation
    • Osha 10 certified
    • Pass a drug screening
    • Able to lift 50 lbs
