Aircraft Electrician performs preventative and non-routine maintenance and inspections of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Uses manufacturer's reference documents, diagrams, and best practices to troubleshoot problems, identify the correct solutions and replace or repair components and parts. Being an Aircraft Electrician conducts quality testing, verification procedures, and required documentation of all completed work. Ensures compliance with all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Electrician typically requires an associate degree in aviation electronics, avionics or equivalent. Requires Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Aircraft Electrician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and experienced Aircraft Upholsterer to join our team. As an Aircraft Upholsterer, you will be responsible for sewing and working with various materials such as leather, fabric, vinyl, and foam to achieve high-quality interiors for various types of aircraft. This role requires attention to detail, precision craftsmanship, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Restore, repair, and customize interior upholstery for aircraft including seats, headliners, sidewalls, carpets, and other components.

    2. Cut, sew, and install fabric or leather materials according to specifications and design requirements.

    3. Inspect, measure, and pattern aircraft interiors to ensure precise fitting and alignment.

    4. Uphold safety standards and regulations while working on aircraft interiors.

    5. Utilize various hand and power tools, sewing machines, and specialized equipment to complete tasks.

    6. Perform quality checks to ensure that finished work meets industry standards and customer expectations.

    7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to cleanliness protocols in aircraft maintenance areas.

    8. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

    9. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques related to aircraft upholstery.

    Qualifications:

    1. Proven experience as an Aircraft Upholsterer or similar role, preferably in the aviation industry.

    2. Proficiency in cutting, sewing, and installing fabric or leather materials.

    3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

    4. Knowledge of aircraft interior components and materials.

    5. Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in aircraft maintenance.

    6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

    7. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

    8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.

    9. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    10. Willingness to adhere to strict quality standards and deadlines.

    Education and Certification:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Vocational training or certification in upholstery, sewing, or a related field is preferred.
