Aircraft Maintenance Manager manages engineering tasks involving changes or alterations to designs or specifications of aircraft parts, modules, or systems to ensure calibration and safety. Implements procedures to guide the routine inspection of aircraft components to facilitate optimal and reliable functionality. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Manager oversees the scheduling and timely completion of repairs and maintenance ensuring budget adherence. Reviews documented issues and reports to determine repairability and evaluates recommendations for replacements, repairs, or modifications to ensure conformance with safety standards and performance requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Manager evaluates aircraft data and technical documents and researches new technologies to identify areas to improve practices or processes. Develops internal policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with federal aviation regulations and safety standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Aircraft Maintenance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Aircraft Maintenance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Perform airframe, powerplant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements.
- Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA.
- Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment.
- Completes all required maintenance records as stated in company GMM.
- Interprets technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
- Presents a clean and neat work area to customers. Maintain facility cleanliness.
- Perform other aircraft maintenance work as required.
- Tow and park aircraft.
- Other duties as assigned.
Reports to: Lead Mechanic

Job Requirements:
- A&P rated.
- Minimum of three (3) years maintaining CASA 212 inremote areas.
- Current experience maintaining CASA 212 for jump operations, preferred.
- Avionics of electrical systems experience, preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Maintain a current US Passport.
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
