Aircraft Maintenance Manager manages engineering tasks involving changes or alterations to designs or specifications of aircraft parts, modules, or systems to ensure calibration and safety. Implements procedures to guide the routine inspection of aircraft components to facilitate optimal and reliable functionality. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Manager oversees the scheduling and timely completion of repairs and maintenance ensuring budget adherence. Reviews documented issues and reports to determine repairability and evaluates recommendations for replacements, repairs, or modifications to ensure conformance with safety standards and performance requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Manager evaluates aircraft data and technical documents and researches new technologies to identify areas to improve practices or processes. Develops internal policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with federal aviation regulations and safety standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Aircraft Maintenance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Aircraft Maintenance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Partners Personnel is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, located in San Leandro, CA 94577, CA Direct hire, In office, Offering $90-120K DOE

    The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager develops, implements, and monitors company environmental health and safety (EH&S) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations. Maintains safety equipment inventory, performs periodic safety inspections, and monitors hazardous waste removal vendors.

    Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager Responsibilities:

    · Direct EH&S activities including planning, implementing, and managing technical performance to ensure quality and financial objectives are attained.

    · Directs EH&S project(s) including project design and schedule to meet objectives. Directs the development of short and long-term EH&S objectives and recommends goals to management.

    · Ensures, maintains all necessary permits for Environmental and Regulatory Compliance.

    · Ensures that appropriate corrective action is taken where health and safety hazards exist.

    · Directs activities related to EH&S programs and ensures company compliance with any applicable regulations, reviews requirements regarding safety aspects.

    · Develops appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records. May develop new or revise existing electronic or hard copy systems and makes internal and external presentations.

    · Collaborates with senior and executive management to develop and implement current and annual technical, schedule, quality, and financial objectives for the EH&S program(s) to ensure strategic business objectives are met. May also participate in the development of annual and long-term objectives for the organization.

    · Represents the organization as a primary spokesperson with line management, program managers, technical staff, and outside representatives.

    · Promotes workplace safety, and assists in the development, maintenance, and management of EH&S programs at the site(s), including proactive incident and illness prevention, respiratory protection, contractor safety, and hazardous chemical management.

    · Assist with HR Responsibilities, creating job descriptions, assist in offboarding, wage surveys, benefits and maintain all personnel transactions

    · Additional HR Responsibilities will be required

    Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred- Additional professional experience maybe substituted in lieu of education.

    · 5 years of progressively complex experience

    · Must be Bilingual in Spanish

    · Must have a thorough knowledge of practices and methods for developing and administering a comprehensive EHS program, including designing employee EH&S training programs.
