Job Title: General Manager - Commercial Janitorial Services

Location: Topeka, KS and surrounding area

Job Description:

We are seeking a General Manager with robust tech expertise to optimize and lead the daily operations of our commercial janitorial services. This role is ideal for a results-driven, tech-savvy professional focused on practical solutions and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will implement and leverage advanced technology to ensure our operations are both effective and meet the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop new business solutions to ensure continuous growth and oversee effective day-to-day operations.

- Manage and oversee financial operations, including budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and key performance indicators to meet financial objectives.

- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships that add value and are based on mutual trust and a partnership model.

- Ensure compliance with all contracts, including adherence to commercial, legal, and service level agreements.

- Regularly review contract performance and compliance, supporting the delivery of our commitment to excellent service.

- Manage and oversee all daily operations within our contractual obligations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

- Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team, ensuring adherence to our core values of service spirit, spirit of progress, and team spirit.

-Address and manage additional tasks as required to meet organizational objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of five years of management experience in janitorial, facilities, healthcare, or hospitality management.

- Proven track record of developing client relationships and managing a team to meet and exceed operational goals.

- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and interpreting financial and commercial information.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams), Microsoft Copilot, and adept at adopting new technologies.

- Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively under fluctuating workloads.

- Strong written and oral communication skills, fostering a culture of safety, diversity, and inclusion.

Work Schedule:

- This is a day shift, that must be flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary.

Background Requirements:

- Must pass a background check and drug screening.

- Valid driver’s license required. With clean motor vehicle record.

- Proof of immunization records.
