Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Oversees routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimize the lifetime of aircraft airframe and engine components according to internal procedures, guidelines, and technical handbooks. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates technical requirements to determine the tradeoffs between the repair versus the replacement of components and the effect on cost and safety. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor informs and trains aircraft mechanics on current information from manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Coordinates and schedules inspections and follow-up tasks to ensure timely completion. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. Typically reports to a manager. POSITION PURPOSE
Perform general repairs in and around Lodge as needed. To ensure that facilities are in a good and safe condition at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance. Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work. Supervise and train maintenance associates. Inspect and maintain building systems. Monitor inventory of materials and equipment. Participate in coordination of projects. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education
High school or equivalent education required.
Experience
Must have minimum of four years hands-on experience working on minor electrical, painting, plumbing and a/c repairs.
Must have 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
Professional certifications such as CMRP or HVAC are preferred.
