Requirement Overview
Reporting to the Engineering/Maintenance Manager – Fletcher, this position requires an experienced Maintenance Leader, to lead and be responsible for the daily supervision and co-ordination of a small maintenance team to achieve required plant availability, performance and quality.
Ensure that proactive and reactive maintenance tasks on the manufacturing site are completed to allow continuity of production operations. Responsible for the planned maintenance schedules on plant and equipment along with the maintenance of electrics, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, whilst working in a health and safety conscious environment.
Role and Responsibilities
1) Lead and drive compliance to the company health safety environmental and quality policies and industry standards
2) Distribute daily tasks to Technicians in line with agreed priorities at the start up meeting.
3) As well as optimising the effectiveness of plant machinery, offer full support to maintenance colleagues and play an active role as a team leader within the Department.
4) To optimise the effectiveness of the machinery with regards: -
5) Quick fault finding and rectifying problems.
6) Preventative maintenance and servicing of machines and equipment.
7) Operation of plant and machines, knowledge of the function, composition and procedure of the production equipment.
8) Early detection of potential technical problems, monitoring and assuring the quality of parts, components and products.
9) Ensures that Safe Systems of work are always used.
