JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The Port of Poulsbo is currently accepting resumes for a full-time, Maintenance Supervisor position – with benefits.
The Maintenance Supervisor will be familiar with all areas of maintenance within the Port of Poulsbo and shall have at least three (3) years of experience at the Maintenance Staff level or equivalent.
This individual shall demonstrate proficiency and safety in the maintenance, repair, rework, and refurbishment of all areas of maintenance at the Port and shall require no immediate supervision to accomplish any necessary task or repair not contracted out. The FMC shall identify problem areas within the Port and suggest ways to improve existing infrastructure to the Port Manager. The Maintenance Supervisor shall also provide written plans, procedures, and materials lists as required by the Port Manager. In addition to accomplishing maintenance and repairs, the Maintenance Supervisor shall provide direct supervision of, assistance to, and training of less experienced or less qualified maintenance staff, including tasking of said staff. A neat, clean appearance and a pleasant attitude are required at all times.
This position requires cooperation with the Permanent Moorage Coordinator, the Guest Services Coordinator, and other staff as appropriate. This position requires an individual to be a team player, to work without direct supervision, be organized and skilled in time-management, and willing to perform multiple shared tasks. This position requires effective communication skills as the individual will be dealing with other staff members, licensees, visiting boaters, and occasionally the general public. This position is under the direct supervision of the Port Manager and requires a weekly written status report to be submitted to the Port Manager for use in bi-monthly reporting to the Port of Poulsbo Commissioners.

Shift and days worked may vary depending on Port needs. Base schedule will be Monday – Friday 8-4:30. (8-hour work day with a 1/2 hour lunch break)
