Oversees routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimize the lifetime of aircraft airframe and engine components according to internal procedures, guidelines, and technical handbooks. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates technical requirements to determine the tradeoffs between the repair versus the replacement of components and the effect on cost and safety. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor informs and trains aircraft mechanics on current information from manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Coordinates and schedules inspections and follow-up tasks to ensure timely completion. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. Apartment Maintenance Supervisor
Successful Property Management Company seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Supervisor for our community in Sterling Heights. The Maintenance Supervisor is in charge of overseeing the day to day operations of the maintenance department as well as assisting the property manager with contractors, projects and other assigned duties. It is the maintenance supervisor's responsibility to train and manage the maintenance technician(s) on staff as well as the groundskeeper. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the physical virtue of the community at all times. This involves ensuring a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Maintenance Supervisor must anticipate, identify and correct all problems involving the property and must have prior experience managing in this department. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ordering, monitoring spending and keeping the community well maintained. This is a hands on position and will require field work from you as well including work orders, turns and preventative maintenance. On call hours are required on a rotated basis.
