Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Maintenance Supervisor
Gulfport Luxury RV Resort, Gulfport Mississippi
Gulfport Luxury RV Resort is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to maintain the physical structures and grounds of the Resort in Gulfport, Mississippi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation and performance of the Resort maintenance staff and maintenance contractors with the goal of making the facility safe, secure, and attractive for guests and Resort staff. The Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the Resort’s General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
· Maintaining grounds, buildings, pool and lazy river, and general maintenance throughout the Resort.
· Participating in the interview, selection, and training processes of maintenance staff as assigned by the General Manager.
· Supervising maintenance staff including scheduling, overseeing, and inspecting the work performance of the staff.
· Performing individual maintenance tasks
· Assist General Manager with coordinating the work of maintenance contractors.
· Monitoring maintenance supply inventory and requisitioning tools, equipment, and supplies through the General Manager.
· Processing repair and maintenance requests by determining which tasks may be performed by maintenance staff and which must be performed by outside contractors and advise the General Manager accordingly.
· Handle necessary repairs and maintenance.
· Keep maintenance logs and writes shift reports.
· Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
· Resolving guest complaints regarding facility maintenance.
· Assist with directing guest to RV sites.
· Maintaining exceptional guest service for oneself and the maintenance staff.
· Working with the General Manager on budgeting for maintenance projects and equipment costs.
· Adhering to Resort policies and procedures (e.g., operating procedures; health, safety, security, and environmental policies, etc.) and directing that maintenance staff to follow the policies and procedures.
· Assisting with Resort-sponsor events including event setup, cleanup, and other support during the event.
· Ensure bathrooms and clubhouse are always clean and presentable and common areas are free of trash and all debris.
· Performing other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· A minimum of three (3) years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related field is required with a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience required.
· Knowledge of hospitality, hotel, and/or RV resort facility maintenance is preferred.

· Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
· Must have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
· Ability to safely drive golf carts.
· Knowledge of OSHA health and safety standards (preferred)
· Ability to use a personal cell phone for Resort business.
· Occasional local travel will be required (e.g., purchasing supplies, etc.).
Position Type and Compensation
The Maintenance Supervisor will be full-time. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
