The Maintenance Supervisor at Woodward Camp is an integral part of the camper's experience. They will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance staff, maintaining records, keeping Woodward's renowned facilities operating at a high level. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the property ensuring the campus remains clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests. These vital tasks may include landscaping, cleaning, removing trash, and performing maintenance on a wide array of features at our facilities.

BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:
- As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
- Reliable transportation required
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment
- Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings year-round:
- On-site work attendance at Woodward PA
- Shoulder Season events
- Develop a mindset to always help or cross train with all staff and departments
- Provide work related references upon request
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
- 5 of years' experience in general maintenance techniques
- OSHA certified on applicable equipment
- Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces
- Well versed in electric, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and fleet maintenance
- Ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques
- Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time
- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Staffing Supervision
- Recruit, train, and develop staff
- Supervise 5-10 maintenance crew by scheduling, directing, and reviewing performance
- Plan, coordinate, lead and execute with maintenance team on all projects
Facilities and Equipment
- Oversee daily maintenance and perform daily, weekly and monthly checks for all on-site properties
- Carry out all repairs for maintenance needs including but not limited to:
- Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing and HVAC
- Septic and Water Usage and Monitoring Systems
- Establish an efficient and effective system of inspections of Smoke Detectors and Fire Extinguishers
- Painting of Cabins, Sport Facilities, and Housing Units
- Rough and Finish Carpentry
- Promote high standards of safety in all work-connected areas
- Assist with Equipment Repair
- Assist with the daily service checks on vehicles, mowing equipment, golf carts, and go karts including but not limited to, oil and oil filter changes, preventative maintenance, rotating tires
- Assist with the daily presentation of campus
- Assist with Snow Removal
Facilities and Equipment - Other Responsibilities
- Use of appropriate PPE
- Follow OSHA and Woodward Safety Guidelines
- Keep detailed records for all projects and maintenance schedules
- Operate a vehicle to execute assigned duties
- Assist with guest requests and needs in a timely manner
- Provide a feedback report to evaluate, evolve, and elevate all equipment
- Other Duties as Assigned
