Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Oversees routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimize the lifetime of aircraft airframe and engine components according to internal procedures, guidelines, and technical handbooks. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates technical requirements to determine the tradeoffs between the repair versus the replacement of components and the effect on cost and safety. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor informs and trains aircraft mechanics on current information from manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Coordinates and schedules inspections and follow-up tasks to ensure timely completion. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. Typically reports to a manager. The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. **Job Summary:**
We are seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of aircraft systems and components to ensure airworthiness.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform aircraft maintenance tasks including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on aircraft systems and components
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities
- Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair aircraft systems
- Work on sheet metal repairs and fabrication as required
**Experience:**
- A&P Preffered, but not neccessary.
- Prior experience in aircraft maintenance or related field
- Proficiency in utilizing CMMS for maintenance trackingg and repairing complex systems
- Experience as a mechanic or technician in aviation or related industries
- Experience with sheet metal repairs and fabrication
