Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Oversees routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimize the lifetime of aircraft airframe and engine components according to internal procedures, guidelines, and technical handbooks. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates technical requirements to determine the tradeoffs between the repair versus the replacement of components and the effect on cost and safety. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor informs and trains aircraft mechanics on current information from manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Coordinates and schedules inspections and follow-up tasks to ensure timely completion. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. Typically reports to a manager. Job Summary:
We are looking for an individual to work in a fast-paced, detailed-oriented parts position. Must be able to work well under pressure and with time constraints. Accurate data entry with proficient organizational skills necessary. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as vendor invoices, packing slips, bills of lading, and internal company documents. This position is key to ensuring effective shipping and receiving of products. Aircraft parts experience is helpful but not required. Must have a valid driver’s license and be approved to operate a vehicle during working hours as part of the essential job requirements. Benefits such as PTO, health and dental, and 401k are provided.
Parts Clerk Requirements:
- Uses the EBis inventory control system to record receipt, transfer, and reductions of parts and rotables. (Prior working knowledge of EBis helpful, but not required)
- Places orders to replenish stock, as approved.
- Conducts physical inventories.
- Collects tools for calibration.
- Aids with shipping/receiving paperwork and systems input.
- Updates aircraft work orders in company production control system (EBis) and create excel spreadsheets.
- Scans vendor invoices, quotes and workorders as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Reads and interpret documents such as purchase orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Driving Requirements:
- Drives company owned or personal vehicle to pick-up and deliver aircraft parts in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.
- Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of passengers and ensures timely and accurate transportation.
- Keeps track of all transaction receipts and purchase orders.
- Loads and unloads aircraft parts and supplies in van.
- Releases orders from our system to the technicians and customers.
- Picks up and delivers documents, letters, packages and other items on time. Documents and tracks the items picked up and delivered.
- Responds to inquiries about pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Performs light housekeeping duties, including dusting shelves, removing trash and sweeping/cleaning floors and tables.
Office Administration:
- General administration duties and data entry.
- Answer office telephone.
- Prepares status reports and recap emails.
- Create, use, and maintain company documentation.
Training and Development:
- Continuously improves skills; attends required training and any other training to improve professional and technical knowledge.
