Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Oversees routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimize the lifetime of aircraft airframe and engine components according to internal procedures, guidelines, and technical handbooks. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates technical requirements to determine the tradeoffs between the repair versus the replacement of components and the effect on cost and safety. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor informs and trains aircraft mechanics on current information from manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Coordinates and schedules inspections and follow-up tasks to ensure timely completion. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. Typically reports to a manager. The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Seeking candidates with experience in Maintenance Supervision to work at an inpatient Residential facility
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7a-3pm, Non-Exempt (hourly) role
Starting at $22.87/hour & $1,000 sign on bonus
On-Call rotation will be needed
The Maintenance Supervisor performs a wide variety of duties including but not limited to the following: preventative maintenance, code adherence, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, lawn and grounds maintenance, snow removal, etc. Directs maintenance staff and activities, coordinates building and grounds maintenance and repairs, performs duties of job and people supervisor.
This position is located on site in Rutland, MA as well as travel to group homes throughout Fitchburg, Paxton, Webster, MA.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Drivers license required.
General facilities knowledge required (utility of a building by regularly servicing, commercial appliances, and areas inside or around a buildings)
Two years experience in maintenance supervision required.
Schedule:
Orientation: 3 days: M-W 8-4pm
Schedule after orientation: M-F 7-3pm on-call rotation
