JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and / or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.

This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

This position will be supporting the Aircraft Electronification assembly area manufacturing engineers in first builds, hardware issues, and maintenance of equipment.

They are responsible for building products, leading the assembly team, and training new assemblers.

May support in the editing of existing work instructions and providing rework instructions. This person will be supporting process improvements and will help with transitions of product to production.

Must have experience in battery manufacturing and be comfortable with computers and operating systems. May be expected to attend meetings and take action on area goals.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High school diploma and 2 years applicable work experience or 6 years experience
• Prior Manufacturing Experience
• Knowledgeable of safety protocols
• Has been trained to work on high voltage products which require PPE (face shields, balaclava, Arch Flash suits, etc.)
• Proper lab procedures
• Experience with computers, MS Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Ability to work autonomously
• Must be able to follow direction and implement required changes

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• High Voltage Assembly experience
• Experience with FLX, Oracle, Windchill
• Experience with Process Improvement initiatives

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $49600 - $79400
