Being an Aircraft Mechanic Assistant utilizes a variety of tools and equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine malfunctioning parts of aircraft engines and assemblies. Follows company protocols to maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization within the hangar or workshop. Additionally, Aircraft Mechanic Assistant recommends part changes or adjustments to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Maintains accurate records of services and procedures performed and documents and reports issues, concerns, and unusual wear or damage of parts. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. Typically reports to a supervisor. We are looking for an experienced Advanced Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This individual should be able to work well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments. The Advanced Assembler will be responsible for putting together component parts or pieces, adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. This person will verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.
