Aircraft Mechanic (Jet) jobs in Brockton, MA

Weston & Sampson is looking for a Mechanic for the Cape Cod region with 0-5 years of experience for the Service operations division.  The work involves multiple skills including, but not limited to, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment in water/wastewater pump stations and treatment plants.

What you’ll do:

• Service, repair and maintain wastewater/water pump stations and treatment facility equipment
• Knowledgeable of proper use and care for equipment and supplies; Maintain equipment and supplies and keep in good working order
• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs of pump controls and basic electrical knowledge
• Active participant in the installation and construction of new equipment and pump stations
• Perform maintenance, repair and new installation of PVC, and ductile iron piping and valves.
• Provide customer service in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed 

What you will bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with mechanical repairs
• Strong interpersonal skills, including writing and verbal communication
• Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
• Ability to organize, manage, and coordinate multiple assignments
• Computer skills including a Microsoft Office
• Must be able to communicate through email & complete reports in a timely and complete manner
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and must be able to climb a ladder, minimum of 15 feet
• Valid Driver’s License
