    A Day In The Life:

    As an Aircraft Technician (A&P Mechanic), you will be responsible for repairing and servicing every part and system in an airplane, except the instruments, meeting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) standards. This role requires managing and performing maintenance and inspections across multiple aircraft, handling administrative tasks, and providing solutions in FAR 135 and 145 environments. Expect work outside normal business hours and some travel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform maintenance as per approved procedures, recording and taking responsibility for all assigned work.
    • Notify the Director of Maintenance of any discrepancies or un-airworthy conditions.
    • Attend maintenance training programs as directed.
    • Complete all required paperwork entries.
    • Supervise un-certificated personnel employed for aircraft maintenance.
    • Document all parts and equipment removed from or installed on aircraft.
    • Promote a professional work environment and work with minimal supervision.
    • Be available for different shifts, weekends, and travel as required.

    Requirements:

    • Current mechanic certificate with Airframe and/or Powerplant rating from an FAA Approved training program.
    • Minimum five years of aircraft maintenance experience.
    • Experience with FAR 135 and 145, maintenance tracking systems like CMP and CAMP.
    • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
    • Preferred: Inspection Authorization, formal type-specific training, experience in FAR 145 Repair Station.

    Experience Preferences:

    • 3-5 years as an Aircraft Technician in a corporate/business jet setting.
    • Maintenance experience on aircraft brands like Gulfstream, Dassault, Bombardier, Cessna, Embraer, Hawker.
    • Comply with Federal Aviation Regulations, company manuals, specifications, procedures, and policies.
    • Pass DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks.
