Modifies and replaces parts such as instruments, wiring, and tires. Being an Aircraft Mechanic (Non-Jet) identifies hazardous aircraft conditions and determines when aircraft should not be flown. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Aircraft Mechanic (Non-Jet) may require certification from FAA-approved aviation maintenance technician school. In this role, you will have the opportunity performs both routine and heavy, physical work in the construction, maintenance, repair and cleaning of camp facilities; operate a variety of hand and power tools.
