Aircraft Painter applies pre-mixed and blended paint or coating to interior and exterior of assembled aircraft or parts. Prepares surfaces for painting and protects painted surfaces from erosion. Being an Aircraft Painter requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Aircraft Painter may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Responsibilities:
· Applies various paint/ finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers.
· Prepares, cleans, and tapes all jobsites.
· Removes old paint coating, if necessary.
· Mixes colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.
· Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
· Cleans up worksite debris.
Qualifications/Skills:
· Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers
· Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
· Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety
Requirements:
· High school diploma is an asset
· Previous painting experience required
· Proficiency with painting tools and equipment a plus
· Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
