OVERVIEW : A Bottom Painter is responsible for prepping (cleaning, stripping, scraping, sanding) and painting vessels below the water line.
Additionally the bottom painter may be responsible for pressure washing vessels, examining and repairing running gear and / or zincs and replacing props.
