Role and Responsibilities

The goal is to drive service, Shipping and Receiving success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability. The Service Material Handler is responsible for assisting the service and shipping/receiving departments in the material handling of service products, processing for shipment and ensuring all paperwork and system updates are complete.

SUMMARY

The Material Handler loads, unloads, and moves materials within the factory performing any combination of the following duties:

Job Duties/

Ability to perform job in a safe, efficient manner.

· Ability to package product per specifications.

· Assists in tearing down and assembling of service subassemblies for shipment.

· Ability to assist in working with technician on salvage processes.

· Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, etc.

· Ability to use both power and hand tools.

· Maintain work area clean, safe, and orderly.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility.

· Ability to operate forklifts or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks plus within the factory.

· Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Forklift certification a plus

· Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

· Must be able to work in a fast pace environment, meet deadlines and possess a can-do attitude.

· Must be flexible and able to change work shifts, work hours and work weekends when required.

· Candidate must be a strong team player.

· Candidate must be reliable.

Physical Requirements:

· Lift up to 50lbs

· Able to bend, stoop, reach and squat

Pay: $19.10 per hour
